FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ Fire Fighting System
FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ is a portable, easy to use fire fighting system designed to be used near water.
It is ideal for use at marinas, shipyards, waterfront homes and cottages, and on any boat with a 12 volt battery. The Class-A foam enhanced water is up to five (5) times more effective at extinguishing a fire than plain water, and it adheres to vertical surfaces thus helping to prevent the fire from spreading.
It can be used on fibreglass, fabrics (including upholstery & seats), plastics, wood, and most other types of combustible materials both for extinguishing and minimizing the spread of the fire.
The FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ system can be used as an important First-Response system before the fire department arrives.
Ashore, the FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ can be on stand by at all times with a spare 12V battery.
Within minutes the system is easily put into a dock cart, rolled to the source of the fire and put into operation.
It can also be used to wet down neighbouring boats, docks and other structures to minimize the further spread of the fire.
The FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ system can be operated from a work boat, an outboard skiff or any powerboat for a fast water-borne approach to a boat on fire.
When reversed, the FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ system becomes an emergency bilge pump. A flooded bilge can be pumped out at more than 5 gallons a minute.
The system can also be used for high-pressure wash-down at 45 psi.
Used by the US Forest Service, Fire-Fast Foam is non-polluting, non-toxic, biodegradable, and cleans up with water.
FIRE FOAM AFLOAT – Portable & Simple to operate
The FIRE FOAM AFLOAT™ system is easily portable and simple to operate:
- Load a cartridge into the foam gun
- Screw on the 25 foot delivery hose
- Put the suction hose overboard (either salt or fresh water);
- Clip the power cables onto a 12V battery,
- Turn on the switch
- Direct the stream of foam at the fire.
